One of the most widely cultivated mushrooms, they are the strongest, richest and most robust of the white and brown mushrooms.

All agaricus mushrooms were brown in colour at one time and this is one of the old fashioned varieties. It has a superior taste and does not shrink as much as white varities when cooked. Excellent keeping qualities.
